How to reach the race venue?

To make it easier for athletes to reach the event and to reduce traffic on the Sirmione peninsula, the Municipality has put in place several helpful solutions. Here are all the recommended options to get to the race area easily and efficiently.

RACE VILLAGE: Spiaggia del Prete – 25019 Sirmione (BS)

Parking on the Peninsula

All parking areas on the Sirmione peninsula are subject to a fee, including the Montebaldo parking lot, which is the closest to the race venue. Spaces tend to fill up quickly and rates can be high, especially on weekends. For this reason, we recommend avoiding driving into the peninsula.

New Free Parking for Athletes

Starting this year, a free and unattended parking area dedicated to athletes is available at Via Coorti Romane 41, Sirmione, near the dog park.
From there, it’s about a 9-minute walk to reach a stop for the municipal shuttle service. This is a convenient, low-cost, and accessible option for all participants.

Municipal Shuttle

Thanks to the collaboration with the Municipality of Sirmione, athletes will be able to use the municipal shuttle service free of charge during the race weekend by showing their registration confirmation.

The service is also available to companions, but with a small fee:

  • €2.00 if the ticket is purchased at the ticket machines

  • €2.50 if purchased on board

Shuttle schedule:

  • Every day, from 10:00 AM to 12:40 AM, with departures every 15–20 minutes

  • On Sunday, to make it easier for athletes competing in the early races, the first shuttle will depart at 8:00 AM

Ferry from Desenzano to Sirmione

For those who prefer to completely avoid driving, Sirmione can also be reached by Navigarda ferry—a scenic and relaxing option. The ferry departs from Desenzano del Garda (Piazza Giacomo Matteotti) and arrives in Sirmione (Piazza Giosuè Carducci), just a few minutes’ walk from Muse Beach, the race venue.

Frequency: daily service from May 17 to October 5, 2025, with departures every 30 to 60 minutes
Duration: approximately 20 minutes

Where to buy tickets:

  • Online at the official website: navigazionelaghi.it

  • At the port ticket offices

  • On board (it is recommended to arrive at least 20 minutes before departure)

The ferry is also a great option for those staying in Desenzano or arriving by train. Hop-on/hop-off day passes are also available for those who wish to explore Lake Garda after the race.

Please note: Ferry schedules may vary. We recommend checking the official website for updated departure times before traveling.
